Benefits of Membership
Networks
The Coalition is a network of health and wellness professionals and advocates. Membership can yield fruitful relationships. For example, a relationship that started in a General meeting has yielded a new pipeline of opportunities that may lead to job training for local high school youth. Attending meetings and participation is a benefit... not a requirement.
Resources
Members share resources, opportunities, news, and events with each other during meetings, over email, on the website, or in person. It is common during meetings, in person or online, for one member to have or know of a resource needed by another member. Mutual resource sharing is a great benefit!
Training
Members receive opportunities for training, workshops, and other learning opportunities throughout the year. General meetings begin with a brief 10 minute presentation that allows a local group, organization, or business to speak about their work improving health and wellness across the county.
Affiliation
Members may use the Coalition logo to show their affiliation. You are part of a group of other individuals and organizations working together to support improved health and wellness in Mariposa County. Members can share their membership on their professional profiles, use the logo on their website, etc.
